Jennifer Barron

A native Texan, Jennifer was born and raised in Dallas before attending Vanderbilt University, where she earned a degree in Human and Organizational Development with a minor in Art History. After graduation, she returned home to teach with Teach for America, but her passion for design soon led her to pursue a new path. She studied at the Art Institute of Chicago before transferring to the Art Institute of Houston, where she received her degree in Interior Design. While still a student, Jennifer gained hands-on experience working part-time for a designer and transitioned into a full-time Project Designer role upon graduation. In 2015, she launched Jennifer Barron Interiors, combining her education, experience, and creative vision to establish her own firm.


As an Interior Designer, Jennifer believes a home should be so loved that walking through the front door feels like a daily joy. Her mission is to bring her clients’ visions to life by weaving in meaningful touches and creating spaces that reflect who they are. Known for her vibrant use of color and pattern especially her love of wallpaper Jennifer blends antiques with contemporary design for a style that feels both timeless and fresh. She currently resides in Houston with her husband, John, and their three children, Gaines, Sally, and Parks. Outside of design, Jennifer enjoys traveling with her family and friends to Park City, Utah, where skiing is a favorite pastime, as well as jogging with her family and exploring Houston’s food and natural wine scene.
