Monica Amariz

Monica Amariz is an Industrial Engineer turned Interior Designer, entrepreneur, wife, and proud mother of two. Born in Colombia to architect parents, she grew up surrounded by creativity but chose a practical path, co-founding a logistics company ROWL United with her husband. After years of business success, Monica returned to her true passion and in 2019 founded Your Elevated Space, which later evolved into Amariz Interiors in 2023—a studio dedicated to elevating people’s lives by transforming their spaces.

In 2024, a trip to Colombia reawakened her connection to design, craftsmanship, and heritage. Inspired, she envisioned Casa Amariz, a boutique showroom and design studio opening Fall 2025 in a restored 1920s Montrose home in Houston. Casa Amariz honors her family legacy—her parents’ firm Amariz y Asociados—while celebrating Colombian and Latin American artisanal furniture.
